UAC Scholarships

The UF Undergraduate Advising Council (UAC) is pleased to announce that, contingent upon the annual budget, we have limited professional development funding available to sponsor UF academic advisors' attendance at upcoming events such as the regional or annual NACADA conference, NACADA webinars, and NACADA Institutes. For those intending to apply for the annual NACADA conference, additional information is available on NACADA’s Annual Conference website.

Applicants may also seek funding for non-NACADA events, provided these are directly related to academic advising.

A Scholarship Committee, composed of members from the UF advising community, will review all applications to determine recipients and award amounts based on criteria including:

Prior conference attendance
Length of time in the advising field
Accepted presentations
Poster sessions
Awards
Committee involvement for the upcoming conference
Departmental contributions and approval
The strength of the application essay
