2023 Annual Conference

The UAC professional development committee is pleased to announce that the 17th annual UF Advising Conference will occur on Friday, March 10, 2023 in the Reitz Union Rion Ballroom. Conference session recordings and program materials will be available via Canvas if you are not able to attend in person.

The theme for this year’s conference is “A New Era: Creating a Unified Vision for Collaborative Advising.” A request to RSVP for the conference will be sent out following the December UAC meeting.

The UAC mission is to support the academic success of UF undergraduate students through promotion of effective academic advisement. To achieve this mission the committee strives to meet the following objectives through regular meetings:

  1. Discuss and make policy recommendations
  2. Promote equity of service provision through consistency of policy application
  3. Share information and best practices
  4. Report regularly to the academic deans, and
  5. Promote professional development among the UF advising community.
